Masuku is an abstract puzzle game for 1–4 players. Place, rotate, and flip cards to reveal colours and symbols that match shifting scoring goals. Use smart positioning and a bit of luck to reach 50 points with the fewest moves.

Daily challenge (demo)

Come back every day to compete for the top spot on the leaderboard. Get 50 points in the fewest turns. The challenge is the same for everyone that day and you can retry as many times as you want, to try to optimise your strategy now you know what cards will be coming in future turns.

History

The game started out life as a Global Game Jam entry 2026. The theme was “mask” and was initially prototyped with paper cut-out cards. The idea was to mask out the colours and shapes to score points with a changing rule set, a bit like the card game Fluxx. When designing, Ally decided to play a version inside of Adobe Illustrator and thought it could work as a digital game, so pivoted during the jam to build in Unity.

The name MASUKU is from the Japanese word for mask.
